We brought you Bambu’s debut album and his latest mixtape,
now here is his group’s first collaborative mixtape.

Native Guns consists of Bambu and Kiwi, 2 emcees from Los
Angeles and Watts, California. Each have made an official
debut album and are now forming the group Native Guns (along
with the third member named DJ Phatrick). Their upcoming
album, “Barrel Men” will be released later this year, and
features production from DJ Rhettmatic, Beatrock, Asi,
Obatron, and more.

This is NOT your average, run-of-the-mill, talkin’ about
bullshit cars, money and hoes type shit! These dudes are
real heavy into the whole social injustice theme, and have
alot of shit to say about terrorism, racism, Bush, the right
to bear arms, etc. Listen to this mixtape and you will see.

Los Angeles born emcees, Bambu and Kiwi, have each released
solo albums which were well received in the west coast
underground. As a result they have rocked stages with
Hieroglyphics, Immortal Technique, The Pacifics, Typical
Cats, Abyssinian Creole, LMNO, Lunar Heights and more. In
preparation and hype for the new album, last year they
released the solid mixtapes “Stray Bullets” and
“Thirty-Eight Revolver”. After keeping the L.A. underground
anxiously waiting for 3 years, they have added a third
member (DJ Phatrick) and returned with their official album
“Barrel Men”, featuring members from Typical Cats, Blue
Scholars, and the NG Camp.

Native Guns consists of Bambu and Kiwi, two emcees from

over the years. Gaining widespread underground respect for
their socially conscious, street-life lyrics, Native Guns
have performed with notable underground acts such as

Coming off the success of their debut album, “Barrel Men”,

FTD brought you all of Bambu’s releases (and Native Guns)
including his highly acclaimed 2003 debut “Self Untitled”
and his 2006 mixtape, “Thirty-Eight Revolver”. Now we bring
his second official album, I Scream Bars For The Children.

Bambu is an emcee from Watts, California (now residing in
Los Angeles) who connected with Bay emcee Kiwi to form the
group Native Guns. In 2006 they released their collective
album named “Barrel Men”, which received wide praise
throughout the west coast underground. They also released
two group mixtapes, named “Stray Bullets” (Vol. 1 and 2), in
order to build anticipation for their album. The fact they
choose to speak about politics, poverty and capatalism
instead of money, bitches and cars has earned them wide
respect among the underground hiphop scene. Shortly after
the release of Barrel Men, Bambu prepared the release of his
solo album “I Scream”, with help from producers such as
M-Phazes and DJ Revolution. Since the success of their
group album, Bambu and Kiwi have been touring state to
state, performing alongside friends such as Beat Junkies,
Blue Scholars, Common Market, Abyssinian Creole, Jeff Jabz,
The Pacifics and Typical Cats. Don’t sleep on this west
